Kent Ivanoff
Kent IvanoffCEO and Co-Founder
Kent is a seasoned business leader who has delivered breakthrough results in a multitude of consumer finance and payments businesses ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. After co-founding VisitPay in 2010, Kent spent a year directly managing the revenue cycle operations of one of VisitPay’s largest clients successfully navigating a migration to the Epic billing system. Transforming the poor billing experiences today’s patient billing systems create for health care consumers and the poor financial outcomes those same systems create for providers became the central mission for creating VisitPay.

Prior to co-founding VisitPay, Kent was most recently Executive Vice President, US Card Division for Capital One Financial (COF). Kent led an end-to-end transformation of the company’s largest business unit from a high-fee, high-attrition business operating under regulatory action to a highly profitable consumer-franchise free of regulatory encumbrances. He more than doubled profits over a five-year period while more than halving both bad debt and customer attrition rates. Kent ultimately managed a $50B portfolio of full-spectrum consumer receivables generating a profit in excess of $2B annually. Kent joined Capital One in 1999 via the acquisition of a company he co-founded, American Direct Credit, an innovative, specialty finance company.

Kent serves on the Board of Directors of Cambia Health Solutions and is also active in the Boise community, where he resides with his wife of 25 years and two children. Kent holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho.

Vincent Martino
Vincent MartinoChief Product Officer and Co-Founder
Vince has nearly 20 years’ experience leading product development, operations, and marketing in both startup and established businesses. He has particular experience in software product management, business analytics, health care revenue cycle, and consumer finance. He was formerly COO of Balihoo, a Boise-based, venture-backed startup that develops web-based software for local marketing. Prior to that he was a Director of Operations and Analysis for the Credit Recovery Services business unit within Capital One Financial, where Vince led development and deployment of customer-centric strategies on one of the largest consumer debt portfolios in the country. Before his time with Capital One, Vince was a product manager for Dynamicsoft, a venture-backed startup acquired by Cisco Systems in 2003.

Prior to his business career, Vince served as a captain in the US Marine Corps. Vince is co-author of The Marine Corps Way: Using Maneuver Warfare To Lead A Winning Organization (McGraw-Hill, 2003), which is printed in four languages and has sold over 40,000 copies in the U.S. and abroad. Vince lives in Boise with his wife and two children.

He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and is a graduate of the US Naval Academy.

Mark Lythgoe
Mark LythgoeChief Technology Officer
Mark is a seasoned technology leader who has delivered complex B2B SaaS software in a highly regulated environment. Mark brings a comprehensive background in software architecture, project management, development, IT, and quality assurance. Mark’s recent experience managing the development, support and infrastructure of a large SaaS financial application delivered to Fortune 500 clients in an audited environment, is immensely applicable to VisitPay’s current and future plans.

Mark started his career as a software development consultant working for Microsoft®. While working with enterprise customers he led the implementation of e-commerce sites on pre-1.0 ASP, built the first Exchange© archiving solution, delivered BizTalk© training, provided architectural and technical guidance on numerous solutions small and large, and successfully delivered projects across web, desktop, and server. With certifications as both an MCSD and MCSE, Mark has extensive knowledge across IT and development.

Mark and his wife Anna recently relocated to Boise to join VisitPay. Mark holds a BS in M.I.S. from the University of South Florida.

Nikolaus Trotta
Nikolaus TrottaVice President of Finance
and Administration
Prior to joining VisitPay in 2012, Nikolaus worked as an associate in Cowen and Company’s technology investment banking group in San Francisco, where he was responsible for evaluating and executing a broad range of debt, equity, equity-linked, M&A and leveraged buyout transactions across the technology sector.

Prior to his business career, he served as an officer in the United States Army’s Field Artillery Branch. Nikolaus received his Bachelor of Science in Arts, Philosophy and Literature from the United States Military Academy and his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Wendy Alexander
Wendy AlexanderVice President of Data, Analytics,
and Client Services
Wendy is a proven executive and leader in consumer finance and in transforming industries and improving customer experience by leveraging data, analytics, and mass customization. As an executive and credit officer at Capital One Financial, Wendy led the development & growth of several new business lines, including Small Business Lending and Small Business Card. Additionally, Wendy worked with VisitPay CEO and Co-Founder Kent Ivanoff on the development of the Credit Recovery Services business for Capital One, transforming the distressed asset business and delivering a more customer-focused experience. After leaving Capital One, Wendy served as Managing Director of Client Experience Solutions at TD Ameritrade, developing key metrics and identifying and implementing improvements to the client experience. Prior to joining VisitPay, Wendy served as Chief Financial Officer of Suterra, LLC, a growth business in the agriculture technology space. Wendy began her career with management consulting firm McKinsey & Co.

She holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA, summa cum laude, in Economics Modified with Earth Science from Dartmouth College.

Ron Kwak
Ron KwakSenior Director of Client Services
Ron brings over fifteen years’ experience in application implementation and servicing, product and services development, and a passion for empathizing with the client’s perspective to his role of leading the servicing of VisitPay’s health care System clients.

Ron’s business and service foundation was built at Automatic Data Processing, where Ron developed the business strategy and led the sales launch for Workforce Now Comprehensive HR, ADP’s midmarket HR BPO service. Ron also headed up the marketing and product organization for ADP’s Insurance Services business unit. After leaving ADP, Ron served as the Director of Marketing & New Ventures at Jitasa where he built the marketing and new ventures function, successfully expanding their product / service portfolio from a single offering to a full suite of services during his tenure. Ron spent the first half of his career leading the implementations of large scale IT application solutions most notably with the management consulting and technology services firm, Accenture.

He holds a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Northwestern University, and a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Ron lives in Boise with his wife, Michelle, and their tibetan terrier, Simon.

Dan Lariviere
Dan LariviereSenior Director of Engineering

Dan has over fifteen years of experience architecting and leading software development efforts. Dan was a founding partner and CTO at DDN Services, providing risk management services to national construction lenders. He pioneered an industry leading field services solution and a robust data exchange with financial institutions such as Wells Fargo, Countrywide, and Fair Isaac. After leaving DDN Services, Dan joined Bailhoo as their primary Data Architect and helped to launch their media buying SaaS application for national brands. Dan has also spent time working as an Enterprise Data Architect for a large global non-profit.

Dan graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in Business Information Systems with an emphasis in Ecommerce. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional with certifications on SQL Server.

Will Reilly
Will ReillyVP of Client and Consumer Marketing
Will is a proven marketing leader with fifteen years’ experience at major corporations and startups in Europe and the United States. He leads VisitPay’s marketing effort from brand and message to demand programs, client expansion and digital presence. Most recently he was Vice President of Product Marketing for IBM, guiding and growing a community of over 1,200 marketers around the world. He also led Product Marketing for IBM’s Watson Internet of Things division, where he helped launch major new products and establish IBM’s brand and voice in a strategic and fast moving marketplace. He led IBM in the state of Idaho for a number of years, where he was responsible for community engagement and corporate advocacy. He joined IBM through the $1.1bn acquisition of Ascential Software where he established and led industry marketing. Prior to Ascential, Will was a management consultant. Based in London he worked for the IBM Consulting Group and supported supply chain reengineering projects for insurance companies, banks and telcos in many countries across Europe. Will holds a BA in English from University College London.
